What Type of Hero are You?

Some people think that "Heroes" is a TV Show in crisis but some are still die-hard fans of it and willing to wait for whatever served in their dishes. I am not interested in discussing the falling TV rates or the pros and contras on Tim Kring's endeavour for the last season to rebounce this once smash tv hit.

Since "Heroes" is supposed to be drawn from everyday ordinary human being that slowly transform into super human in such realistic fashion, I think It is time for us to mirror it's characters to our daily life. Surely not to become a person with super ability but mostly a realistic figure with full understanding of life. Let us see some of Heroes' Characters that may fit in to your personality or ability. In case you hesitate to take it seriously then consider it just for fun!

Peter Petrelli

Peter is a good looking young man that absorps power merely by being around other super hero. In daily life, you may find a person that easily grasp and drain other people knowledge and expertise only by hanging around them. You may call this kind of person a fast learner.

Gabriel/Sylar

Sylar is actually a super villain who unlike Peter is intentionally drain other hero and steal their power. He is a vampire that has lust not for blood but power! You may find in the neihborhood a person that has a high ambition for power that may use means and ways that despised morality.






Niki/Jessica/Barbara/Tracy
Niki/Barbara/Tracy are tripplets whom DNAs were manipulated by a genius Doctor that worked for The Company. Niki/Jessica has split personality. It is easy for us to find a person of this nature. Someone that is so kind and tender in one occassion and turns the opposite way the other times. He or she does not have to be a psycopath criminal in ordinary life but may show some swing of emotions and erratic behaviors.

Claire Bennet
A pretty chearleader that is supposed to be candy for the show although given minimum role for an undestructable and immortal character. Yes, she can not be dead! Definitely we can never find someone like this in real life but there are people with unbelievable strength that survive the pain and bitterness of life. Most of us has experience pain in various degree. Some pain resides in our deepest unconciousness. There actually people that can heal amazingly and forget the trauma in shorter time. I believe Tim want to create Claire as a person that has an amazing endurance but yet does not perceive it as a gift and confused what to do with it. Clearly there are a lot of us that is presumably has the abilty to cope with life but have not realized it or are not confident enough to use it.

Isaac Mendez
He is a drug addict that can paint the future. Surely there are lot of junkies in the world that love painting their dark and uncertain future. Mendez does not accept his gift as a bless but rather as a curse. In Season 3 we are introduced by a new hero of Mendez category (They call it a Precog). In one scene Hiro actually call this guy " African Isaac". This guy in opposite to Mendez embrace his gift as bless to human kind. In daily life we may find person with long-term vision who actually see consequences of actions and decissions that he/she made. This visionary person shall always tell the world the aftermath,catastrophes,and natural dissasters for what humankind has done to the mother nature.

Angela Petrelli
This Momma Petrelli can dream of the Future but unlike the junky Mendez, Angela use it for the sake of power and honour. So Angela seems more ambititous in power, decissive, strategically thinking, manipulative and has a certain ambigue in her mother role. Such a big momma, huh? Have you seen someone like this in the neighbourhood?


Matt Parkman
He is a pathetic ex cop that just loose his wife (for having an affair with Mat's Superior) although he is a good listener! He can actually listen to people minds. While he can judge one's honesty by reading their heads, Matt can easily be manipulated by other. The company used to push his expertise for unethical purposes. Yes, you are right! It is so nice to have a good listener around. But sometime we do manipulate him to do indecent or inappropriate things.

Hiro
Alas, it is everybody's dream that wish to be able to stop or manipulate time. Well, Hiro can do it! He can freeze an event, travel back and forward through time-space continum. It seems that being a hero is his childhood dream. He wants to save the world though ocassionally in a silly fashion! A spoil child, Japanesse brat type of young boy that he is.

There is no doubt that this show will continue introduce new super heroes and super villains from which you may identify yourself with. If you don't feel confortable with it then again this is just for fun! Anyway, what type of
